Entertainment developer Kevin Ream joins Kiz Toys Board of Advisors

Kiz Toys is currently looking into various consumer arenas that compliment the Kiz Toys brand, and the toy company has teamed up with Kevin Ream for advice in this area. Ream joins the Kiz Toys Board of Advisors to help Kiz Toys analyze different strategies and develop and implement a range of consumer entertainment products that span several venues.

During the nineties, Ream supervised the development of a new generation of state-of-the-art concession carts licensed under the Andretti name, an internationally recognized iconic name from the world of racing. Andretti SuperKarts, Inc., was awarded a contract with NASCAR Speed Parks, and sold to a publicly traded NASDAQ listed corporation. Ream later founded the Andretti Thrill Park in Melbourne, Florida, and Andretti Speed Lab in Atlanta Georgia, which generated over $6.4 M in revenue during the first year of operation.

Ream’s family entertainment industry background goes back to his college days at Penn State when he designed and built his first miniature golf course. He went on to found GOLFSCAPE, a franchise that successfully opened 60 miniature golf courses and family entertainment centers worldwide. Ream also authored a “how to” book about the family entertainment industry entitled “The Serious Business of Miniature Golf.”

“Kevin really knows how to look at time-tested formulas in new, innovative ways, take them to the next level and market them effectively,” said Kiz Toys co-founder and CEO Chris Moreau. “Kiz Toys is all about providing consumers with one-of-a-kind experiences, and Kevin will help ensure that we do that in whatever entertainment ventures we undertake.”

Ream joins baseball icon Phil Niekro, racing legend Warren Johnson, energy expert Ray Johnson and philanthropist Gary Dunwoody on Kiz Toys’ Board of Advisors.
