Dr. Benn Konsynski named to Kiz Toys Board of Advisors

Kiz Toys is working to change the way kids interact online, and to help achieve this goal the company has teamed up with Benn R. Konsynski, Ph.D., one of the world’s leading minds in technology research and implementation. Konsynski is the newest addition to Kiz Toys’ Board of Advisors, and he will advise the toy company in the development of Kiz Toys’ virtual world environment and the various levels of interaction that are part of the digital experience.

“Kiz Toys is a technology-driven company, and to have someone with the background and knowledge of Benn Konsynski working with us is very exciting,” said Kiz Toys co-founder and CEO Chris Moreau. “He has helped a lot of successful businesses develop winning technology solutions, and we are thrilled to have him on board.”

Konsynski is currently the George S. Craft Professor of Information Systems and Operations Management at the Emory University Goizueta Business School. Some of his research programs at Goizueta include delegation technologies, digital commerce and virtual reality and world making, including using virtual reality for pain treatment in children.

His research and consultation has influenced how a number of companies approach new markets and interactions. Among these companies are IBM, UPS, AT&T, Yahoo, Progressive, Northwestern Mutual, Harbinger and Tessco.

Konsynski holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Purdue University. After graduation, he joined the University of Arizona where he founded a nationally recognized technology department inside the business school. He went on to spend six years on the faculty of the Harvard Business School where he taught in the MBA program, as well as several executive programs.

Benn R. Konsynski, Ph. D. joins baseball icon Phil Niekro, racing legend Warren Johnson, entertainment developer Kevin Ream, energy expert Ray Johnson and philanthropist Gary Dunwoody on Kiz Toys’ Board of Advisors.
