Raz B of B2K Looks to Connect Artists with Fans on New You42 Network

Multi-platinum R&B singer Raz B has announced a partnership with You42, Inc., bringing his entrepreneurial spirit to his own You42 Network. In addition to exclusive content from the B2K star, the Raz B Network will feature Channels from established artists in pop, hip hop, and R&B, as well as rising stars who are ready to shine. Fans will get access to new music and behind-the-scenes content that brings them closer than ever to their favorite artists.

“My fans mean everything to me,” said Raz B. “They’ve been with me through thick and thin, and I’m always looking for ways to give back to them. This new Network is built around that connection. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been in the game for years like me, or if you’re just getting started, your fans will feel like they’re a part of your journey.”

Raz B began his career as a teenager, co-founding the internationally acclaimed group B2K. Their first album, 2002’s “B2K,” debuted at No. 1 on the R&B/Hip Hop Charts. The group went on to star in the smash-hit dance drama “You Got Served.” In addition to his work with B2K, including three albums and a successful 2019 tour, Raz B has continued recording solo hits, acting in television roles, and working with non-profits. Now, he’s using his experience to help new artists through management, promotion, and education.

“I’m really big on transparency—helping others by telling my story,” added Raz B. “This Network is about the music, but it’s also about guiding these young artists, teaching them how to achieve success while avoiding the pitfalls and dangers of the music industry. We want to empower them to take control of their careers and stay true to themselves.”

This focus on the artist is a perfect fit for the You42 platform, which was developed to help creators of all kinds take back artistic and financial control of their content.

“The music business is one of the toughest industries out there,” said You42 CEO Chris Moreau. “Our platform is providing a different path, one that puts the artist in the driver’s seat. With the addition of the Raz B Network, musicians will have a place to showcase their work, engage with their fans, and learn how to turn their talents into a lucrative, long-term career.”
